Stepping Out Studios launches the Exclusive CSTD Jason Winters Contemporary Dance Class for Children

Known for their highly qualified instructors who are led by the only teacher in Singapore with a degree in dance from the prestigious University of Surrey (UK), Stepping Out Studios is excited to introduce the exclusive CSTD Jason Winters Contemporary Dance Class for Children at their City Square Mall outlet/studio. The “Jason Winters Contemporary Technique” is a world-class and comprehensive Contemporary Dance syllabus. Its technique and structure is designed in the most classical and academic way and infused with choreographic electricity used in today’s most commercial settings. It provides the proper tools to create dancers capable of furthering their education at the University level or working in fields from a major dance company to stage, film or television. A unique collaboration between the CSTD and industry expert it provides “Dance for the 21st Century and beyond”.
The class is aimed at children aged 9-16 and is structured to challenge dancers both physically and creatively. Throughout the syllabus, the foundation is laid for a strong, focused & fluid contemporary dancer with building blocks in different Contemporary techniques such as Graham* and Cunningham**. The classes complement Stepping Out Studios’ popular Ballet, Jazz, Tap and competition classes allowing students access to the full range of graded dance genre’s.
