Character Dance
Character dance is a fun way to improve technique by extending your repertoire through a range of dynamic movements. It represents a form of choreographic art and is an integral part of a dancer’s training in Ballet, as it is also part of the Ballet Syllabi.
The benefits of this class include development in flexibility, strength and stamina through the use of the torso and shoulders, as well as exposure to a variety of different musical styles.
Learning the art of character dance will expose you to many popular character dance adaptations including the national dances of Hungary, Russia, Poland, Italy, China and Spain.
This class is suitable for anyone age 6 and above.
